Michael has worked with horses from the age of 14. In his late teens Michael had a successful career as a jockey until an opportunity to ride track-work at the legendary Lindsay Park under Hall Of Fame trainer, Mr Colin Hayes was too good to refuse. In his years at Lindsay Park, Michael helped to put the polish on the seemingly endless amount of champion racehorse's that Mr Colin Hayes had at any time. Eventually, family ties bought Michael back to Brisbane where he took out his trainer's licence in 1999. Red Letter Racing are excited to be able to offer owners the expertise of one of the industry's real horsemen with a habit of winning races.
